Salad Salute.

My go-to ingredients:

  • Kale (this is my base)
  • Cucumber (cooling effect, perfect for hot weather)
  • Avocado (healthy and delicious fat source)
  • Apricot (this can be substituted with any other fresh fruit you prefer such as pears or berries)
  • Dried cranberries (to add a little sweetness to counter the slight bitterness of kale)
  • Olive oil and vinaigrette (drizzle to finish!)
